"The rental space was perfect for our girl trip. It was clean, comfortable and you cannot beat the location! There were 5 of us so having the pullout couch was a must. Having 2.5 baths was also a plus. We found the pool to be a bonus as well. We only used it once but it did kick off our trip.

"Not a bad little house. It's a bit of work to find the key, find the unit, they even describe getting in as a "scavenger hunt" on the instructions. Also, they gave us one key and there were two of us staying so there is no way for one person to get back in without the other. The security gate to the garage is a lot. Once you finally get in there, the house is nice. May not be bad for a family of two or three that are planning to go everywhere together.

"This condo was perfect for our stay. We had four adults and a 2 year old in our party. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, pool was great, very roomy. We would definitely stay here again.
Only down side was only one gate key, would have been nice to have two.

"This was perfect for us. We were getting married, and had our three adult children with us. There were many family and friends stopping by and the outside patio area was a blessing! "The condo is close to Duval Street at the somewhat quieter end, unless you count the roosters crowing in the early hours. I’m pretty sure the roosters are the alarm clocks of Key West!
The condo was clean and in good condition. The kitchen has basic cooking utensils, pots and pans but no consumables such as spices, salt and pepper. I mention this because I like to cook. There is a good food store a few minutes walk away for anything you need.
The living room is spacious but could use some more seating if you have more than 4 people staying. The bedrooms were as described with one being much larger than the other. If you are traveling with another couple you might have to draw straws to see who gets the larger one!!
The bathrooms were basic but well maintained and there is a bonus half bath off of the living room.
The condo has two outdoor areas that were nice to sit out in the cooler parts of the day. We did not use the swimming pool but it looked clean and well maintained.
We had a great time staying here. The restaurants and bars are minutes away and you are well located for all of the main attractions on Key West.

Perfect Girls Weekend

"My college friends and I decided to take a trip to Key West. There were 5 of us and this place had plenty of space for us. The property's communication was consistent so we always knew what to expect. Admittedly there seemed to be a bit of paperwork after we booked. It wasn't too big of a deal, but you definitely have to be on the look out for the things that need to be completed. After that's completed, leading up to the the trip and arriving to the property was easy and we were able to get in with no issues.

This property is walkable to nearly everything in Key West. There is a corner store a block away, which is really handy. The A/C works well. I will say that the upstairs back bedroom is much warmer than the rest of the house, but they provide a portable A/C unit.

"The condo and location were great. Some small things that could use improvement.The furniture in the livingroom is not what is pictured and the new couch is not comfortable. Some of the glasses in the kitchen were cracked. Broken lamp and towel rack in the 2nd bedroom. Small things... over all a great location and perfect for a short stay.

"We were satisfied with the accommodations & everything we needed was in the unit. The property was centrally located for all the venues we wanted to see. The swimming pool was nice as well. The only recommendation would be the stairs had carpet that needed cleaning. Didn't keep us for having a great time!!!

"We had a nice time, we’ve stayed at this location many times. It’s convenient and walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped with all that we needed and the living room was comfortable and for socializing. We even enjoyed the patio a couple times when it wasn’t too hot. The bedrooms were adequate, the master would have been terrific if it had a king size bed. The other bedroom was very hot, no air circulation at all and our girls said the beds were not very comfortable. That is really our only complaint.

"This condo was perfect in size, clean and a great location. It is a little hard to find from the GPS directions. The salt water pool is small, but extremely nice. One thing I would recommend is for everyone to bring ear plugs. The roosters walking around ****-a-doodle-do every 10 seconds all night long!! It is fun to watch them, but be prepared if you are a light sleeper!! I would definitely stay here again!

The Ultimate Comfort in Key West

"As you often hear, the pictures of this rental did not do it justice. The condo boasted plenty of space, sizable rooms, and every amenity you could need in a week away from home.

It was centrally located - legitimately - to everything. You are walking distance to the most popular bars in town, to numerous beaches, to convenience stores, and to a plethora of restaurants. We rented bikes for the trip and found that we hardly even needed them!

Having a full size kitchen also allowed our party to stock up on food, drinks, and snacks - and not have to rely on eating out for every meal (or trying to stuff leftovers in a minifridge that inevitably get tossed out).

Best yet, this condo was located in a quieter part of Duval Street, so rarely were you distracted but the bustle of the city - outside of the occasional roosters.

Highly recommend you consider this unit for your next stay!

"We enjoyed our four-night stay. The unit was sparkling clean, well-appointed and comfortable. There are lots of good restaurants, points of interest and shopping opportunities within a 10-minute walk. We did not have a car and enjoyed walking throughout Old Town. We really enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the Cuban coffee shop right there in the Duvall Square complex. We'd definitely recommend the unit to friends traveling to Key West.

The quiet end of Duval

"Great stay on Duval street, condo has great space compared to many in Truman Annex, 2BR and 2.5 Baths, makes it easy for the whole team to shower after snorkeling/diving before going out for the evening. Well equipped, Pool was really nice for an afternoon dip. The only difficulty was the instructions of where to get the key (need a picture of where the double door gate is from the parking lot (entrance off Simonton) to get the initial key to get into the gated area.

"We had 5 people staying at this location and we were very comfortable and pleased with the whole experience! Place was clean, had plenty of dishes, and a nice deck and patio. All appliances worked. I needed assistance to access the key box for my parking pass. I was able to contact the maintenance manager immediately when I called and he was very patient with me and walked me through opening the lock box. I was using the wrong code, haha!
Looking forward to book again next year. Oh and by the way, when you are tired from shopping, the pool area is awesome and clean. What a great place to meet new people and hang out with a beer (Or two)

"Had asked for an early check-in and they failed to notify us the property was ready so we spent several hours wondering around in the heat. At 4:00 pm went to the unit but the lockbox wasn't working. Another half hour getting a hold of the maintenance guy to let us in. He was, however, extremely nice and helpful. Between the aggrevation and heat we were done and could not enjoy our first night in Key West. With the exception of dirty dishes that had been put away the unit was nice and clean. The location was perfect. Away from the crowds but close to everything. Just wish there was better communication concerning getting the keys and leaving them at check-out but that could just be my lack of traveling experience.

"It was a great location. Just a little away from the big crowds on Duval. The place was in excellent condition and larger than expected. Jamie and her assistants were also excellent. Any issue I had was resolved as soon as possible, including having her husband come assist us with a dying battery on the key lock. It was after 10PM. That's what customer service is all about. I highly recommend this place. If I'm down there again, I will definitely try to get this place.

"Communication from the management was excellent and they were quick to answer any questions I had about the reservation before, during or after the stay.

The check in process was very easy, we landed after office hours but were easily able to make a quick stop in the taxi to pick up keys from lockbox. We were given a parking pass for garage parking (we didn’t need it) which would have come in handy had we drove.

The apartment was huge, plenty of seating downstairs with a large outside area off the living room, the upstairs bedroom were very clean and each had their own full bath. The master also had large flatscreen TVs with cable and a nice outdoor space

Some of the furniture in the living space was a little dated but everything was really clean and tidy. Some updates had been made to the unit, kitchen was new and spotless and central air in the unit was great.

The location was perfect for us to walk to anywhere we wanted (Duval St, Southernmost point, Hemingway House around the block, or any of the restaurants we had picked to eat at). Although the unit is situated above a small area with 2/3 restaurants, the noise was minimal and the restaurants close at 10:30, meaning it never affected our sleep.

If we come back to KW in the future, this will definitely be the first place we look up!

"The experience was average. The location is the redeeming factor for the entire experience. The furnishings are below average. The A/C cannot cool the entire unit during the day, and it was first week of March. There is a supplemental unit in the master bedroom upstairs, which requires keeping all bedroom doors open to disperse the air. Floors and carpet on the stairwell must have been dirty. The bottoms of our feet would get dirty. While I failed to carefully read all the emails and promptly download the property app, the contact at the property mgmt company was not friendly when contacted after hours. If you're OK w/ average accommodations in great proximity to the southern end of Duval, this property is recommended.

"Enjoyed our stay...great location! Really need an a/c upstairs. Woke up several times each night extremely warm even with a/c as low as it would go. Must be on a timer as each time we came back, it was extremely warm inside. When we dropped off the keys during open office hours, no place to put keys as the office was closed. After roaming around found someone and they took ours keys. Overall, we had a great time as the location was perfect!

"Stayed as 2 couples March 2020. Property was excellent and suited our needs. Clean, comfortable and well equipped including the benefits of gated security and car parking. It was as described in the information prior to booking. Very convenient location and, being south of Truman Street, it was nicley away from the noisier parts of Duval St whilst being very central.

"We had a great time in Key West and the BMW Fantasy worked out just fine. It is located in a perfect spot to be able to walk to just about anywhere. Even though it was above some shops, it was relatively quiet. For warning though, there are rosters everywhere and that will be the longest part of your visit. :)

Like previous replies, it is a bit dated and could be really good with just a few recent updates. Some of the items look to be straight out of the '80s still. But overall, very clean and no issues.

The main bedroom is very spacious, but the extra bedroom is tiny. Also, there is no central air upstairs, so they use a portable unit to heat the upstairs. That unit is situated in the master bedroom, so the extra bedroom doesn't get much help.

Hopefully, you like cats as well, as the complex seems to have 2 cats that are very friendly roam around. Some reason, probably my cat lady gf, they welcomed us each morning and night. :)

Other than that, had a great time. No issues.

"We stayed here with our children and my mother over Thanksgiving. The location was PERFECT! We walked everywhere and nothing was too far away. It was very quiet, except for the crowing roosters, clean, well maintained, and had plenty of amenities. The condo was spacious and no one felt like they were crowded. We would definitely stay here again!

"This rental property was just as described. The rental company was very easy to work with and accommodating. The rental property was located right on Duval Street so we were a short walk from all of the entertainment. We really enjoyed the group of shops and restaurant downstairs in Duval Square. It was convenient to just walk down and grab a coffee or breakfast in the morning. The shared pool area was also really nice. We didn't use the pool, we were just too busy on our short trip, but we did sit around it during the mornings drinking our coffee and planning out our adventures for the day.

"The location was perfect right in the heart of Key West on Duval Street. The apartment was perfect although it sleeps 6 we only used one pull out downstairs, Apartment came with a second floor patio overlooking two restaurants. Pool was refreshing. Apartment was in excellent condition although we did very little cooking other than breakfast the kitchen was supplied with all the tools to produce a 5 course meal. I would say well worth the find compared to hotel room in Key West.

"Condo was located in great area of Key West. Walking distance to and from Duval St just right out the door. Condo was just what we needed. Only problem is if you have more than 2 cars get ready to open your wallet as well as good luck to find extra parking spots. knew this before going so be prepared if you plan on taking 2 cars.

"the unit is exactly as pictured, it was spacious and comfortable for our stay. Off street secured parking was a pleasant added touch. Right off of Duval but below Truman to stay out of the hustle and bustle but still be convenient. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the sofa was way more comfortable than the master bedroom mattress. Other than that, the property is great.

"Really nice place. We would definitely stay again. The only downside is the neighbor is a little bossy as she complained we were talking out on the patio at 10 p.m. We are not very noisy people. It was only three of us. But other than that it was a very very nice place. Fully equipped and clean. We would definitely like to stay again. There was no TV in the bedroom with the two single beds. That would have been nice but not necessary.

"We were satisfied with our property experience overall. We had one hiccup our last night that our lock did not work with our key. I am no locksmith but it became incredibly temperamental. This is no fault of the management, and they were prepared to drive from Marathon if we could not get in. The beds were comfy and the place was clean, although we did see one roach-probably a standard in the Keys though.

Perfect location for our week-long stay in Key West

"BMW Fantasy was the perfect place to enjoy our stay in Key West. Four of us (two couples, all in our 60's) flew to Florida, drove to Key West for the experience, and turned our car in at the airport when we got there. This location was ideal for walking everywhere in town. We never missed the car. We toured the Hemingway home, the Truman White House, and the Butterfly Conservatory, enjoyed several days on the beach, and had fabulous meals out most nights. The nice thing about renting a condo is that we made our own breakfast in the morning and stayed in for dinner twice. We enjoyed the patio and the condo pool. Becky, the property manager, was wonderful to work with. If we get back to Key West, we would stay here again.

"the location was excellent. Would stay in that complex again. However, beds, and bedding were in very poor shape. The master bedroom mattress is very worn. The linens are old and scratchy. Everything else was completely acceptable. We are not a messy group, so it really didn't matter much, but having to wash the few dishes we had right before we left was a pain and taking out the trash too. What is the purpose of the cleaning fee?

"Nice condo in a great location. Very well kept with everything you could need for your stay. There were four of us and the space was plenty large, and having 2.5 bathrooms helped a lot in the mornings. Only downside was the upstairs bedrooms tend to get a little warm, and the window blind in the smaller 2 bed room wouldn't close properly and gets direct morning sun blinding the person in the bed under it. We hung a sheet over it to fix, but that should be repaired as it's pretty bright.

"This unit was well equipped with anything you may need to cook and clean. There were many extra towels, sheets and blankets if you need them. The unit was clean. The pool was great. The Italian restaurant outside the unit was great and very accommodating when we needed that late evening Key-Lime-Pie-fix.
A couple of negatives: The living room furniture needs updating desperately and the pull-out couch is falling apart. There were 5 of us staying in the unit and they only have two sets of keys so having a third set of keys for that last person/couple was a big inconvenience.

Great Location in Key West

"Recently had a weekend for 6 people at this location. It was perfect. Located on Duval Street so it was a short walk to all the action, but not at the center of the action itself.

The condo was 2 stories, has nice rooms, and it had some air mattresses so all of us could sleep comfortably.

The pool was OK -- definitely not the highlight. But the location is what makes it. A short walk (5-15min) to either the beach, Southernmost Point, Hemingway House, and all the nightlife on Duval. Plus it overlooks an outdoor restaurant area where there are some great eating options just downstairs.

It was a great Key West and I would definitely considering coming back to this location!

Great Clean Place

"This was the perfect spot for us. Right on duval st. secure complex so it felt safe. Restaurant right down stairs, circle K convenient store right next door. The scooter/e-car rental place was right across the street and they were awesome. They gave us a great deal and we were able to park the cars and scooters in their lot over night so we didn't have to fight for a parking space. Overall great experience and will definitely be staying with them again!

"Very nice, location was awesome. Very nice beach very close. Only draw back was that the maintenance man would leaf blow every morning at 8 a.m. and it was really loud. The Italian restuarant downstairs was amazing!!! We ate there twice in our week stay. And it smelled wonderful everyday! The pool was really nice. Warm and had salt water. very nice to soak our sore feet every afternoon.

Huge Condo/Great Price

"Condo is a large 2 bdr/2 1/2 bath right on Duval Street southern end. We have stayed there many times before and always have a great time.The parking is covered and free!!! "The property location was convenient to Duval Street. It is across from the New York Pasta Garden, so you smell garlic and italian food daily (not that it is a bad thing). There was only a few things wrong: 1. the upstairs master shower drain was clogged. On check out I mentioned it. 2. The new office doesn't have a key drop yet. 3. I didn't want to go home. It is a completely secure building with a secured parking space. I would rent again, hoping I hit the lotto to buy the place.

"The description of the property stated that both bedrooms had a TV. There was not one in the 2nd bedroom. Also there was no air conditioner in the 2nd bedroom which made it very uncomfortable for sleeping. The rest of the condo was fine. We will stay at Duval Square again but probably not this unit.

"We loved the property and the location. I would recommend this location and the management firm to my friends. Great pool to relax in after a long hot day of walking around Key West. Condo was good.., BUT....

"The condo itself was good but there are a couple things that could be done or on hand to go just that little bit further.
1) There should be more than just 4 bath towels in the condo, especially since there were 4 of us.
2) Beach towels on hand would be nice.
3) There was a horrible smell upon opening the condo when we first arrived and it was there off and on again during out stay. It smelled like a bad drain to me and I believe it got worse when we were doing laundry. It definitely needs to be looked at, very bad.
Condo itself was completely fine other than what I've stated. I'd stay again and just hope that they've resolved the bad drain smell for good. The pool was nice for the late afternoon dip.

Great location

"Very easy check-in at the property management office. Major drawbacks - 5 people in unit but only 2 sets of keys. Only 1 parking space and no street parking anywhere nearby. Had to leave one car at management office which was on the other side of the island. Unit was in a great location with a super restaurant next door, New York Pasta Garden, with the friendliest servers and great food. The unit furnishings were a little outdated, would have preferred at least a full-sized bed in the second BR instead of 2 twins, but having 2.5 baths was great. Could not use the pull out sofa bed in the living room because the springs were broken and mattress was stained, reported this to the management company. Very nice pool area. Would like to rent at this complex again maybe in another unit.
